There was never a doubt in my mind that I wouldn’t be a carpenter. I just had to figure out what that looked like for me.
I volunteered in various trades during my teenage years and learned from skilled carpenters who inspired me. Eventually, I went to college and became a certified carpenter. I then joined the union and worked my way up to become a commercial site superintendent, overseeing numerous high-profile projects for a renowned company.
In 2010, I started Havenwood (previously CPJomma Construction). It was my creative outlet since I missed working with tools and crafting things every day. I slowly transitioned from the managerial role of superintendent and returned to crafting custom projects hands-on, where my true passion lies.
Becoming an entrepreneur spread so much joy throughout my life. It allows me to be more present with my family and I've met so many great clients (many turned friends) throughout the years. Even after all these years in the industry, I still feel the same passion and excitement when starting a new project. Bringing a house to life is what brings me joy.
OUR WARRANTY
At Havenwood, we take great pride in delivering exceptional results that our clients can rely on. Our warranty is a testament to our commitment to customer satisfaction and the confidence we hold in our workmanship.
We proudly offer a One Year Warranty on all of our projects, in addition to any manufacturer warranties that may apply to specific products used. If a homeowner needs to make a claim under this warranty, they can rest assured that we will respond promptly. We require written notification within one year of the completion of the renovation. After we receive the notification, we will schedule an inspection to assess the issue and determine the appropriate course of action. If the issue is covered by our warranty, we will make any necessary repairs or replacements at no cost to the client.
While we are confident in the quality of our work, we want to be transparent about what our warranty covers. It does not cover issues that arise due to normal wear and tear, neglect, or misuse. Additionally, it does not cover damage caused by normal house settling or natural disasters, such as floods or earthquakes.
